Assume first clock gains two minutes and second loses 3 minutes.

W.R.T. clock 1, clock 2 looses 5 minutes per day.

To show the same time it has to loose 12 hours at the rate of 5hrs/day.

No. of days = (12hrs X 60min)/5min-per-day

                 = 144days

                 = Ans (2) less than a year.

A year!  Do it by elimination method!!!
